Emballator Group is taking another important step in its journey toward 'One Emballator'. Avez and Europak, both well-established parts of the Group, will now adopt the Emballator name and become Emballator Wattrelos and Emballator Espoo respectively. The change also reflects a broader naming standard across the Group, where all companies will carry the Emballator name alongside their local identity. While the names are changing, the people, expertise and customer relationships remain the same. The transition reflects Emballator's ambition to work even more closely as one company while continuing to build on the strengths of its local operations.

New names. Same local presence.

As part of the transition, Avez will become Emballator Wattrelos and Europak will become Emballator Espoo.

The new names reflect both companies' local roots and their place within the wider Emballator organisation. Customers will continue to work with the same local teams and contacts while benefiting from an even stronger connection to Emballator's network.

A journey that continues

The move to the Emballator brand is the next step in a journey that began when Avez and Europak became part of Emballator Group.

Avez joined Emballator in June 2024, strengthening the Group's presence in France and expanding its offering within industrial metal packaging. Europak became part of Emballator through an acquisition of the Finnish company in 2023, strengthening the Group's position and capabilities in the Finnish market. Since then, both companies have continued to serve customers under their established brands while becoming increasingly connected to colleagues and operations across Emballator.

Today, the name change reflects a natural evolution of that journey.

The transition is also part of a wider Group initiative to establish a common naming standard. Going forward, all companies within Emballator Group will operate under the Emballator name, while retaining references to their local heritage and location where relevant.

Respecting the past. Building the future together.

For Emballator, this transition is not about leaving history behind. Avez and Europak have built strong reputations through dedicated employees, long customer relationships and years of expertise. Those strengths remain an important part of Emballator today.

"This is about much more than a name change. Over the years, we have taken important steps to bring our companies closer together, creating stronger collaboration across the Group. By bringing Avez and Europak under the Emballator name, we are taking another step forward in our journey toward 'One Emballator'. We remain a company built on strong local businesses, but we are becoming increasingly united in how we work, support our customers and create value together," says Kristoffer Asklöv, CEO, Emballator Group.

Avez becomes Emballator Wattrelos

Since joining Emballator Group, Avez has continued to strengthen its position in the French market while becoming increasingly connected to colleagues and operations across the Group.

"For us, this is an exciting new chapter. We remain the same team, serving the same customers with the same commitment and expertise. Becoming Emballator Wattrelos allows us to keep our local identity while making our connection to the wider Emballator organisation even clearer," says Bart Bouckaert, Managing Director, Avez.

Europak becomes Emballator Espoo

For Europak, the transition represents another step in a journey that began with the acquisition in 2023.

"Our customers can feel confident that the relationships and service they rely on will continue exactly as before. At the same time, becoming Emballator Espoo gives us a clearer connection to the wider Group and the broad expertise that exists across Europe," says Janne Koistinen, Managing Director, Europak.

One company. Local strength. Shared future.

The transition to Emballator reflects a clear direction for the future. While the Group will continue to build on strong local teams, close customer relationships and specialised expertise, it will increasingly do so as one connected organisation.

Across Europe, Emballator continues to grow as one company. From Emballator Wattrelos in France to Emballator Espoo in Finland and the Group's other sites, the ambition is the same: to combine local strength with the advantages of a shared organisation.

Different histories. Shared values. One company. One direction. 'One Emballator'.
