Directly printed bottles strengthen brands in the painting segment

The DIY boom during the pandemic increased demand for painting products—and it also accelerated packaging development. In response, Emballator Mellerud has created a strong concept where the print is applied directly onto the bottle.

Printing directly on the packaging is both cost‑efficient and highly functional, explains Magnus Sandberg, Sales and Marketing Manager at Emballator Mellerud:

“By choosing direct print, customers avoid labels that risk peeling off. In the worst case, labels can come off during transport or in the shop. More often, they detach over time because paints and solvents are tough on paper and glue. With direct print, the product information stays on the bottle and the packaging continues to look good both in store and during use.”

Emballator Mellerud offers direct printing on all types of round bottles used for linseed oil, turpentine, cleaning agents and other painting‑related chemicals.

“This is an exciting and growing segment, and we collaborate with our sister companies in the Emballator Group to offer customers a complete, brand‑friendly packaging range for their painting products.”
