Emballator at IKEMdagen – supporting a competitive and sustainable industry

Yesterday, Emballator took part in IKEMdagen in Stockholm – an important gathering for Sweden’s innovation and chemical industries. Representing Emballator were Ulf Nicklasson, board member of IKEM, and Maria Edqvist Schultz, who regularly contributes to IKEM’s events through her work in expert groups.

IKEM – Innovation and Chemical Industries in Sweden – is an industry association representing more than 1,250 companies and around 70,000 employees. The organisation works to strengthen the competitiveness of Swedish industry, support the shift towards more sustainable production and create conditions that encourage innovation and investment.

IKEMdagen is held once a year and brings together member companies, experts and policymakers. The programme focuses on the key issues facing the industry today, including EU legislation, skills development, energy policy, sustainability and industrial growth.

“Participating in IKEMdagen is one way for us at Emballator to stay close to the issues that affect our business and our customers. We want to contribute to a sustainable and innovative industry – and that means being part of the conversations where decisions are shaped,” says Ulf Nicklasson.

For Emballator, staying actively involved in the development of our industry is important. Our engagement in IKEM gives us valuable insights and a platform to contribute, helping us continue to be a reliable, forward‑thinking partner in a rapidly changing world.
