Emballator grows in hygiene and cosmetic packaging

The so‑called “lipstick effect” often appears in times of uncertainty—people still invest in small things that bring colour and joy to everyday life. And perhaps that trend is reflected in Emballator Mellerud’s growing business in personal care and cosmetics.

“Packaging for cosmetics and personal hygiene is a growing segment for us,” says Magnus Sandberg, Sales and Marketing Manager at Emballator Mellerud.

During and after the pandemic, interest in hygiene and personal care increased. Looking after yourself has simply become an important part of daily routines—and the number of brands on the market continues to grow.

“If you walk into a grocery store, you’ll see shelves full of different packaging. Brands really need to stand out. Packaging has become a key part of the product’s marketing, and we support our customers in developing solutions that are functional, visually strong and help build their brand,” Magnus explains.

Design support and a complete packaging offer

Emballator Mellerud works closely with customers and can support with 3D design and construction, ensuring ideas develop into practical, attractive packaging. The company also offers several printing options to create clear and appealing designs.

“We have a wide range of standard bottles—from half‑litre to one‑litre formats—but we can also help customers create customised packaging that stands out. For closures, we collaborate with our sister companies within the Emballator Group to offer safe and functional solutions. For customers wanting a completely unique expression, it’s a smooth path from idea to finished packaging. Together we offer a complete solution.”
