Highlights from Emballator’s 2024 Sustainability Report

We’re pleased to share a few key updates from our latest sustainability report and show how our long‑term efforts are taking shape.

Increasing the use of recycled materials

To support our 2030 goals for plastics and aluminium, Emballator Group used 24% recycled plastic in 2024, and almost half of all aluminium came from recycled sources. Together, these steps helped us save more than 5,000 tonnes of CO₂e compared with the previous year.

33% lower CO₂e emissions from transport

A major step towards our ambition of climate‑neutral transport by 2030. By expanding the use of electric transport, we have reduced transport‑related CO₂e emissions by 33% compared with 2021.

Phasing out carbon-black plastic materials

To help increase recyclability, we have replaced carbon‑black plastics with lighter colours and fully recyclable non‑carbon‑black materials for acrylate petrol and food applications.

These changes reflect our practical, hands‑on work to reduce our climate impact while improving material efficiency across the group.
