Meet Antonio Dzido – Planner Keeping Production Running Smoothly

Antonio Dzido is one of our planners at Emballator, and his role is central to making sure customer orders are scheduled correctly and produced on time. As Antonio puts it: “A planner is at the centre of much of the information that flows through departments, companies and customers. We see what is happening now and what is coming next, so we can support with questions, solve problems and make sure customers receive their products on time.”

Keeping production efficient and reliable

Each day, Antonio and his colleagues review all incoming orders and place them in the right department and machine group. He ensures that materials are available, timings are realistic and production can start as planned. He also fine‑tunes the run lists to keep the lines working efficiently. His work has a direct impact on our delivery reliability and on the smooth flow of production.

Strong technical experience

Antonio has made impressive progress since joining Emballator. After nine years as a machine operator, he knows the press department inside out and has kept all production lines running. For a period, he also trained colleagues and set up machines—experience that gives him a practical understanding of how planning decisions play out on the factory floor.

This background makes him a valuable resource, with the ability to see both the technical and organisational sides of production.

A problem‑solver at heart

What Antonio enjoys most is bringing together all the incoming orders and finding solutions when challenges arise. Staying calm, taking initiative and keeping focus are key parts of the job, and qualities he uses every day. His advice to those interested in planning is simple: listen more than you talk, and always look for ways to improve.

Life outside work

Outside Emballator, Antonio is a dedicated music fan with a love for metalcore. He spends plenty of time at the gym, enjoys series and films, and practises longboarding. He is also known for making an excellent Spaghetti Carbonara. One of his personal goals is to master pull‑ups with +40 kg—an ambition he approaches with the same steady determination he brings to his work.
