Meet Åsa Svensson – Supporting Customers with Skill and Heart

Åsa Svensson is a valued colleague at Emballator in Ulricehamn, known for her steady commitment and positive approach. As Customer and Sales Support Manager, she helps ensure that customers receive clear information, quick answers and reliable service. Her day-to-day work includes handling enquiries from both new and existing customers, registering orders, and giving updates on delivery dates and prices. She also works closely with production planning and logistics to keep the order flow running smoothly.

A role built on collaboration and quick thinking

“My job is fun, varied and challenging, especially when it comes to solving urgent delivery needs,” Åsa says. She starts each morning by reviewing priority emails and keeping close contact with customers and colleagues.

Flexibility and accuracy are essential in her role. Åsa highlights the importance of switching focus when needed, adapting to unexpected situations and finding opportunities for improvement in times of change. She is also inspired by the creative assignments she has been part of and hopes to spend more time on similar tasks in the future.

Years of experience – and a strong connection to Emballator

Åsa first joined Emballator working in reception and the finance department. After seven years, she moved into customer and sales support, where she has contributed to several meaningful projects. These include developing the webshop, creating trade fair can designs and supporting photo projects for brochures and the website. She has also taken part in staff event planning and served on the board of Herenco’s employee foundation.

Originally from Rånnaväg, Åsa has lived in Ulricehamn since she was 21. She shares her life with her partner and has two adult children and one grandchild. Before joining Emballator, she worked for many years as a receptionist at Ulricehamns Tidning, Hotell Bogesund and Seger Europe. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family and friends, spinning, strength training, cycling and walking. She has a strong interest in music, interior design, fashion and film, and often relaxes with an audiobook. She also has a talent for remembering song lyrics – a clear advantage at any music quiz.
