Welcoming Peter Thorpman as Emballator Group’s New CFO

We are pleased to welcome Peter Thorpman to Emballator Group as our new Chief Financial Officer. Peter will guide our financial strategy and day‑to‑day financial operations, supporting our long-term development and the work we do to provide reliable, sustainable packaging for our customers.

Experience built on practical leadership

Peter brings more than twenty years of experience in finance and operations, with a strong international background and deep knowledge of the automotive sector. Most recently, he served as Director and Business Unit Head of SKF Seals at SKF Group. In that role, he held full P&L responsibility for a global business with more than 4,000 employees and a turnover exceeding 7 billion SEK. He managed 15 factories worldwide and led several key initiatives, including strategic mergers and an acquisition.

Before this, Peter held senior positions across SKF Group, such as Business Area Controller for Industrial Units and Director for SKF Cooper Bearings and Power Transmission. His work covered multiple business units across Europe, Asia and the Americas, where he focused on steady operational improvements and hands‑on collaboration.

A return to Sweden

After three years in Chicago, Peter has returned to Sweden and now lives in Åmål with his wife and two children.
