Emballator acquires Avez to strengthen its presence in Northern Europe

Emballator has acquired Avez, a long‑established packaging manufacturer based in Wattrelos, France. The transaction was completed on 28 June 2024 and marks an important step in strengthening our offering and presence in Northern Europe.

Avez is a trusted supplier to customers in several sectors, including chemical and paint industries. The company specialises in industrial tin metal packaging for hazardous goods and has been family‑owned since it was founded in 1950. The business has been acquired from second‑generation owners Antoine and Thomas Avez, who will remain for a period to ensure a smooth handover.

“With this acquisition, we respond to our customers’ request to broaden our range and extend our geographical reach. Avez’s customer base, strong product offer and local manufacturing in Northern France will be a great complement to Emballator,” says Christian Höglund, responsible for Emballator Paint & Construction Northern Europe.

Thomas Avez, Commercial General Manager of Avez, adds:

“We are pleased to join a group that shares our values and objectives. It’s reassuring to know that our legacy will be carried forward with passion and commitment.”

Antoine Avez, Technical General Manager of Avez, continues:

“As part of Emballator, I am confident that we can bring more new and sustainable solutions to our customers.”

Christian Höglund concludes:

“I am really pleased and proud that the Avez family has trusted us with their company. We warmly welcome the entire Avez team to Emballator and look forward to building an even stronger future together.”
