Emballator Metal Group awarded EcoVadis Gold
Emballator Metal Group, with operations in Sweden and Finland, has strengthened its focus on sustainable procurement and environmental performance in recent years. Thanks to this long‑term work, the company has now been awarded EcoVadis Gold.
EcoVadis is a widely used sustainability rating system that assesses more than 75,000 companies across 160 countries and 200 industries. The rating covers four areas: Environment, Ethics, Labour & Human Rights, and Sustainable Procurement.
Emballator Metal Group works with a broad range of initiatives linked to the Emballator Climate Strategy across Scope 1, 2 and 3. This structured approach has played an important role in achieving the improved rating.
“Improving our EcoVadis rating is a great achievement and proof of our strengthened sustainability focus. The whole Metal Group team is involved in this work, and I look forward to continuing to improve our sustainability performance,” says Christian Höglund, CEO of Emballator Metal Group.
Looking ahead, the Emballator Group will continue to prioritise areas such as energy efficiency and sustainability within the supply chain.
“I’m happy that Emballator Metal Group has reached EcoVadis Gold. It’s a strong achievement, and it means that three of our companies now hold the highest rating. We will continue to drive sustainability improvements across all our units,” says Maria Edqvist Schultz, Head of Sustainability at Emballator.
