Meet Axel Brandting – Production Technician at Emballator Växjö

We’re pleased to introduce Axel Brandting, production technician at Emballator in Växjö. With a focus on developing and securing our production processes, Axel plays an important role in keeping operations running smoothly.

No two days look the same for him. Some days are spent solving urgent issues with colleagues, while others are dedicated to long‑term improvement projects. The mix of practical problem‑solving and forward‑looking work is something he enjoys.

A journey built on hands‑on experience

Axel first joined Emballator during his training as a maintenance technician in 2017. After gaining experience, he stepped into the role of team leader for the maintenance group before becoming a production technician in early 2023.

One project he is particularly proud of is the development of a completely new assembly line for one of our largest products. The work involved close collaboration with a Canadian supplier and took more than a year to complete — a real example of teamwork across borders and disciplines.

Working with curiosity and respect

For Axel, being analytical and humble are essential traits. Understanding colleagues’ everyday challenges helps him solve problems more effectively and supports strong cooperation across the production team.

“It’s crucial to appreciate each other’s work situations,” he says.

He also connects strongly with Emballator’s value of courage — encouraging the team to explore new ideas and take on the responsibility that comes with improving processes.

Life outside work

When he’s not at Emballator, Axel enjoys both playing and competing in disc golf. He also likes board games and travelling with friends from around Europe, discovering new places and cultures along the way.
