Meet Jim Åhman – Key Account Manager at Emballator Lagan
Jim Åhman has been part of Emballator for more than eight years, becoming a trusted colleague and a familiar face to many of our customers. As a Key Account Manager, he helps businesses find the right packaging for their products—always with a focus on practical needs, material knowledge and long‑term reliability.
Most days, Jim is out meeting customers, learning about their operations first-hand. When he’s not on the road, he often answers questions about materials, especially the growing interest in recycled options.
“My goal is always to guide customers to the solution that suits their product and their priorities,” he says.
A role built on trust, clarity and a bit of humour
Over the years, Jim’s role has evolved, but one thing remains constant: the value of trust.
“Being reliable in our relationships is crucial,” he explains. “And a good sense of humour helps us navigate even the challenging moments. It’s always about putting the customer first.”
His approach reflects how we work at Emballator—collaborative, down‑to‑earth and committed to doing things properly.
Life beyond work
Away from the office, Jim is a dedicated parent. Much of his time is spent around ice hockey rinks or at the stables with his children.
“Your children won’t remember what you did for a living, but they will remember the fun times you had together,” he says with a smile.
Looking ahead
Jim feels positive about the future and sees strength in the ONE Emballator direction. He looks forward to continuing to grow and contribute as the company evolves. His advice to anyone considering a similar path is simple:
