Meet Kerstin Claesson – shaping quality and safety at Emballator
At Emballator, Kerstin Claesson plays a central role in our quality and environmental work. Her responsibilities range from daily checks in production to long‑term improvement projects, all with the aim of ensuring that we deliver safe and reliable packaging.
Kerstin starts her mornings early with a walk through production and a few spot checks. After that, her day shifts between meetings, administration and strategic planning—tasks that together form the foundation of our quality processes.
“My role as a quality engineer spans many areas, from handling chemicals to internal audits and improvement projects. Every day brings something new and requires both flexibility and precision,” says Kerstin.
During her time at Emballator, Kerstin has continued to grow in areas that matter deeply to her, especially workplace environment and safety. Her work has contributed to clear improvements in chemical management and safety routines, and her commitment has made her a trusted colleague across the organisation.
“The best part of my job is when we, as a team, solve complex quality issues. It’s rewarding to see our work make a real difference for the company and our customers,” she says.
Outside of work, Kerstin enjoys spending time in nature. With a background rooted in gardening, she has a natural interest in plants and green spaces. She is also engaged in local community projects and volunteer work, driven by a strong sense of responsibility for both people and the environment.
“I believe in contributing actively to society and the environment, both inside and outside of work,” Kerstin says.
It is this combination of professional dedication and personal commitment that makes Kerstin such a valued and appreciated colleague at Emballator.
