Meet Magnus Gåård – bringing experience and steady hands to Emballator’s production
With more than 22 years at Emballator, Magnus Gåård is one of the most experienced people in our production team. As a machine operator, he combines deep technical knowledge with a practical understanding of how improvements can strengthen everyday work on the factory floor.
Magnus starts each workday with a shift handover, taking over from the night shift and setting up the day’s priorities. As part of the packaging centre group, he works with everything from assembly and automated packing to ongoing improvement projects.
“What I like most about my job is the varied workday and the social context. Having good colleagues whom I get along with is important to me,” says Magnus.
Over the years, his role has developed alongside Emballator’s growth. He began with simpler operator tasks and has gradually taken on more responsibility, becoming a key resource in major initiatives. He played an important part in the automation project carried out in 2019–2020, and he is now preparing to help introduce a new machine in the assembly department.
“Engagement and willingness are important qualities in my role. It’s not just about technical competence but also about being positive and flexible. For me, the most rewarding part is being part of the exciting future here—new investments, new projects. Contributing to that development feels very satisfying,” says Magnus.
Outside work, Magnus enjoys a simple, steady rhythm. He lives close to the factory and likes to spend his free time cooking and playing video games. He prefers taking each day as it comes and focusing on what brings energy—at work and beyond it.
Magnus’s experience, commitment and calm approach continue to make a real difference in our production, and he remains a valued colleague as we keep developing together.
