Meet Samuel Törngren – keeping our machines running at Emballator Växjö

At Emballator in Växjö, Samuel Törngren plays an important role in keeping production running smoothly. As a machine technician, he combines technical know‑how with a calm, practical approach to problem‑solving.

Samuel starts each day with a short morning meeting to align on plans with his colleagues. He appreciates the mix of structure and unpredictability in his work, and he brings curiosity and focus to whatever the day holds.

“Since I started here in May 2023, I’ve developed a lot. In the beginning, I worked closely with my colleagues, but now I work more independently and learn new things every day,” Samuel says.

For Samuel, the best part of the job is the variety and the teamwork. Taking part in larger projects and seeing the results together with his colleagues gives him energy and pride.

This autumn, the team has installed several new machines—work that Samuel describes as a true group effort, combining technical skill with good collaboration.

“I’m proud that we at Emballator value courage and the ability to keep our heads cool. Knowing that my work matters to the company gives me a sense of satisfaction,” he says.

Samuel hopes to continue growing in his role and enjoys taking on new challenges. His approach is to make the most of each day—both at work and outside of it.

In his free time, he likes working on cars and computers, and spending time with family and friends. He dreams of one day starting a family and owning a house. One surprising detail: he enjoys opera and is a skilled baker.

Samuel takes each day as it comes, but looks to the future with the same enthusiasm he brings to his work—steady, thoughtful and open to what’s next.
